It only aired 14 episodes, 10 years ago, but the love for Joss Whedon's "Firefly" has never been greater.

Members of the cast and writing team from the show, often described as a Western but with spaceships, gathered at the annual Comic Con in San Diego for a 10th anniversary panel (the show aired on Fox from September to December 2002, before it was cancelled).

Many of the people who once tread the floors of the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity have gone on to successful careers in television--Nathan Fillion stars in the crime caper "Castle," Adam Baldwin had a great run with the spy favorite, "Chuck,' and Morena Baccarin is earning raves for her sympathetic performance in "Homeland." Joss Whedon wrote and directed "The Avengers," the third highest-grossing film of all time.

But they all speak fondly of "Firefly" as a remarkable, inimitable experience.
