Two boys wearing black beanies ran onto the road during an Olympic flame parade in Coventry, England, briefly snatching the torch from its bearer.

Their efforts were stymied by security officers who reacquired the flame and wrangled the children back into the crowd.

Local police officers pulled the boys aside for a "friendly chat," the Guardian reported. No arrests were made.

According to the Daily Mail, the Metropolitan police had this to say:

"At approximately 0730 hrs in Coventry, two children entered the security bubble around the torchbearer and were moved by the torch security team.

The official Olympic flame is on a 70-day trip over 8,000 miles.

Barring any further incidents, it will arrive in London July 27.
