Robert KieckheferRobert Kieckhefer is a former managing editor, vice president and executive editor of UPI. Kieckhefer was with the company for nearly three decades before joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where he was vice president of public affairs for Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas before his retirement in 2010. Bob, a graduate of St. Louis University and a board member of the National Turf Writers Association, has covered horse racing for UPI for many years.
