(UPI) -- World powers will meet in Geneva, Switzerland Wednesday in order to try and hash out a deal regarding Iran's nuclear program.

The P5+1 powers, that consist of Russia, China, US, UK, France, and Germany, have reportedly made progress with Iran whose Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said wants friendly relations with the all nations.

"We want to have friendly relations with all nations, even the United States," he told an audience of Basij militiamen, reported Reuters.

The militiamen responded with a chant of "death to America."

The US' warming of relations with Tehran has allegedly upset other allies in Saudi Arabia and Israel.
