SINALOA, Mexico, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- The sons of Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman are suspected of an attack on a Mexican army convoy that killed six soldiers and wounded nine others early Friday morning, officials said.
The convoy included an ambulance that was transporting a prisoner to a hospital in Culiacan, in the western state of Sinaloa, said state public safety coordinator Moises Melo, when it was attacked by up to 60 men armed with grenades and assault rifles.
