BOGOTA, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Alleged drug kingpin Victor "Megateo" Navarro-Cerrano, wanted on a $5 million United States bounty, was killed in a Colombian army raid.
President Juan Manuel Santos said Navarro, also known as Victor Ramon Navarro-Cerrano, was killed during a military operation in Catatumbo, located in northern Colombia. Santos praised the operation on Twitter saying, "congratulations" and "big punch." He did not release further information about Navarro's death.
