The soldiers are heard in the video yelling at the teenagers for running away and cursing at them with profanities.

"We condemn in strongest terms the actions of members of the army against two teenagers and demand the prompt clarification," Jorge de León Duque, counsel for the Office of Human Rights in Guatemala, said.

Guatemala's Public Ministry announced that the Attorney for Women and Children will launch an investigation over the "grave violation of human rights" and that the Ministry of Defense has been questioned on the matter.

Alberto Brunori, a representative of the United Nations' Human Rights Council, said the case "must be investigated" to describe the video of "high impact."
