VIENNA, July 1 (UPI) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with his Russian counterpart, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in Vienna to discuss their shared commitment to fight the Islamic State.
The objective "to unite the efforts of our two countries in the region more effectively," Lavrov told reporters on Monday, underscored the need to end the scourge of Islamic terrorism.
