DONETSK, Ukraine, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- An artillery shell has hit a hospital in the rebel-controlled city of Donetsk, Ukraine, killing at least four people.
The attack happened at about noon local time on Wednesday, according to city administration. Most of the casualties were outside the building.
The Ukrainian military said that two of its soldiers were killed, 18 were injured and about 80 artillery or rocket attacks were launched against Ukrainian-held locations in the past 24 hours.

Recently, the battle for the town of Debaltseve has intensified and rebel leader Alexander Zakharchenko announced plans to recruit 100,000 men as NATO and United States officials consider providing weaponry to Ukraine's government.
