PARIS, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Amedy Coulibaly wore a GoPro video camera and recorded his attack on a kosher market in France that left four hostages dead.

The gunman recorded seven minutes of his Jan. 9 attack on the Hyper Cacher market in Porte de la Vincennes, France, including when he killed three of the hostages. Four hostages and Coulibaly died in the siege.

Multiple hostages who survived the attack said Coulibaly tried but failed to access the Internet on his personal computer inside the market. He then had one hostage help him access another computer in the market where he appeared to be manipulating video or image files.

Investigators believe he emailed a copy of the video to someone.

"There is a strong probability that this video may have been transmitted to a recipient and not to a traditional media outlet," an investigator told French newspaper L'Express.

Coulibaly said he was working with the Islamic State terror group and he timed his attack to coincide with a standoff by Said and Cherif Kouachi in Dammartin-en-Goele.

Investigators say the Kouachi brothers were responsible for the Jan. 7 attack on the Paris offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead.

Coulibaly is also suspected of shooting to death a police woman Jan. 8 in Paris.
