LONDON, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- A prank caller posing as British intelligence official Robert Hannigan managed to get through to Prime Minister David Cameron.

Downing Street said Sunday that someone obtained Hannigan's mobile number from Government Communications Headquarters, of which Hannigan is director, before contacting Cameron.

Officials said Cameron ended the call as soon as he realized it wasn't the director.

"In neither instance was sensitive information disclosed," a government spokesperson told the Mirror.

The rep went on to say that the hoax had prompted security reviews at both GCHQ and Downing Street.

"Both GCHQ and Number 10 take security seriously and both are currently reviewing procedures following these hoax calls to ensure that the Government learns any lessons from this incident."
