ISLAMABAD, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Pakistani opposition leader Imran Khan hailed a record-breaking 44-day sit-in calling for the removal of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who has been accused of vote rigging during last year's election.
"This protest has awakened the nation," Khan told the massive rally on Friday, and expressed hope that Sunday's rally in Lahore would be historic in its size.
