NEWPORT, Wales, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama dropped by a reception hosted by Prince Charles Thursday evening following the first day of the NATO Summit in Wales.

Obama shook hands with the prince, saying "good to see you." The two men then posed for a photo and enjoyed a laugh.

When asked how the first American president to visit Wales was enjoying the country, Obama remarked that he was having a great time and encouraged others to visit Wales.
