PYONGYANG, North Korea, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Reporter Anna Fifield took video from the window of a plane as they descended into Pyongyang, giving a rare glimpse into the secretive country.
The plane flies over green and seemingly undeveloped fields before landing at the largely empty airport. North Korea is a closed country that is not known to be friendly to Westerners or journalists. They still have two Americans in their custody and have been resistant to calls for their release.

Fifield will be reporting from North Korea for the Washington Post for "several days."
