PORTLAND, Australia, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Passengers on a boat off the coast of Portland, Australia got a surprise when a shark attempted to bite its engine.

The shark circled the boat before final clamping it's jaws on the rotor of the engine. The footage was shot by Joel Ryan who sent the video to the Wall Street Journal. More sharks can be seen on Discovery Channel's annual Shark Week, which is taking place this week.

In the words of Roy Scheider, "You're going to need a bigger boat."
