PYONGYANG, North Korea, July 28 (UPI) -- A high-ranking North Korean military official threatened a nuclear launch against the White House and U.S. military bases in the Pacific.
Vice Marshall Hwang Pyong So spoke at a rally in Pyongyang, the capital, Sunday, marking the 61st anniversary of the 1953 armistice ending Korean War hostilities. He said the White House and the military bases would be targets of missile strikes if the United States attempted to weaken North Korea's sovereignty or its nuclear capability.
