BARCELONA, Spain, July 7 (UPI) -- Two planes almost had a catastrophic collision at Barcelona's El Prat International Airport Saturday with the entire incident being caught on film.

Russian airline UTair had a Boeing 767 approaching the runway for landing when an Aerolineas Argentineas Airbus A340 cut across the area. The UTair pilot had to pull up the plane at the last moment to avoid crashing.

Miguel Angel, who took the video, said it was "one of the worst experiences I have ever had." The viral video has had over a million hits since it was uploaded.

Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (AENA), the managing body for the country's airports, released a statement saying the planes had sufficient space to land and there was no real danger of collision.
