Explosion at busy shopping center in Nigeria's capital city

An unspecified number of people were injured Wednesday when a bomb was set off at a busy shopping center in Nigeria's capital, Abuja.

ABUJA, Nigeria, June 25 (UPI) -- A busy shopping center in Nigeria's capital city of Abuja was rocked by a bomb explosion on Wednesday.

The explosion was set off in the capital's Wuse district. There were reports of injuries but no further details were available.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the bombing, but Islamist militant group Boko Haram has launched recent attacks in the country.
