WASHINGTON, May 29 (UPI) -- U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will be traveling to South America in mid-June, where he will mix business and pleasure.

According to an itinerary provided by the White House, the vice president will meet with leaders from Brazil, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic during the week of June 16 "to discuss the full range of bilateral, regional and global issues."

He has also scheduled some fun. While in Brazil, Biden is expected to attend a World Cup soccer match between the U.S. and Ghana.

After cheering for the U.S. team, Biden is expected to meet with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff and Vice President Michel Temer in Brasilia.
