NEW YORK, April 16 (UPI) -- Things got a little awkward on BET's 106 & Park when singer August Alsina went off on Keshia Chante for asking him a question he didn't want to answer.

Chante asked Alsina about his tense relationship with fellow singer Trey Songz.

"Is there any chance that two talented brothers will bury the hatchet?" she asked.

Alsina has spoken about the beef he has with Trey Songz in other interviews, but apparently the topic was supposed to be off limits during this particular appearance.

"So you just gonna go against the grain and go against everything that ... I just told ya'll not to ask me that [expletive] when I got up in here," he replied to Chante.
