"In my experience, if somebody talks a lot about how we have to get the gays in line, it turns out they are really gay themselves," said Maher to Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina of the Pussy Riot. "Give us a little dirt behind the scenes of the Kremlin -- is he a little...?"
Tolokonnikova and Alyokhina laughed and said they expected so but they have not seen proof. This is not the first time these rumors have sprung up and gained enough traction to the point where the Kremlin has had to officially deny the claims as "rubbish."
Putin has signed several anti-gay laws including the infamous ban on homosexual propaganda.
