The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation reportedly seized a Ukrainian naval commander from Ukrainian Navy headquarters in Crimea's Sevastopol on Wednesday and took him to an unknown location.
Ukraine's Defense Ministry acknowledged the abduction of Ukrainian Navy Commander Serhiy Haiduk, telling Interfax-Ukraine "We confirm that he was taken out of the navy headquarters, and now we are finding out the details ... We do not know where he is now."

Sevastopol media reported that FSB members took Haiduk after Crimean self-defense forces and Russian Cossacks broke into the headquarters and directed the navy to depart the area.
