KIEV, Ukraine, March 13 (UPI) -- Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said Thursday it is investigating a report a Ukrainian businessman was arrested in Vienna at the FBI's request.

Danylo Lubkivsky, Ukrainian deputy foreign minister, said at a briefing in Kiev the ministry is investigating a report by the Austrian news website OE24.au that Dmytro Firtash was detained and suspected of organized crime.

"The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has not put Firtash on any wanted persons' list," the Interior Ministry's press service told the news agency Interfax-Ukraine.

Firtash, 48, a businessman, is also head of the council of the Ukrainian Employers' Federation, a business and industry organization.
