Vessel carrying alleged Iranian missiles escorted to Eilat

EILAT, Israel, March 8 (UPI) -- A cargo vessel allegedly carrying Iranian weapons destined for Gaza arrived Saturday in an Israeli port.

A combat unit with expertise in bomb disposal was sent to Eilat to examine crates on the Klos C to determine if they are booby-trapped, Ynetnews reported. If the crates are found to be safe, they will be unloaded by the Army.

The Klos C was captured early Wednesday by two Israeli naval vessels, which escorted it to Eilat.
