Seven Afghan soldiers die in explosion

DELARAM, Afghanistan, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- At least seven Afghan soldiers died Sunday after an improvised explosive device went off in Farah province, military officials said.

Gen. Zahir Azimi, spokesman for the defense ministry, said the soldiers died during an explosion in the Delaram area.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, Khaama Press reported.
