DERA BUGTI, Pakistan, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- At least nine people died Sunday during clashes between tribal residents in Pakistan's Balochistan province and terrorists, an official said.

Armed men attacked a house near Dera Bugti town, killing at least six people, including women and children, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti told Geo News. He said the attack was an act of terrorism.

Tribesmen chased and attacked the terrorists, and two militants and one of the tribesmen were killed in the ensuing shootout, Indo-Asian News Service reported.
