L'ISLE-VERTE, Quebec, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- The search of the burned-out seniors home in L'Isle-Verte, Quebec, ended Sunday with 27 bodies recovered and five residents still missing, officials said.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. said bone fragments found at the Residence du Havre seniors' home destroyed in the Jan. 23 blaze have been sent to a coroner's office, where staff will use DNA testing to try to identify the five remaining victims.

Police investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
