U.S. ambassador to Russia breaks finger playing basketball again

Feb. 1, 2014 at 11:01 AM   |   Comments

MOSCOW, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said in an online post Saturday he has broken his pinky finger while playing basketball -- again.

McFaul posted a picture to Twitter in which his finger is blue and swollen, RIA Novosti reported.

Initially McFaul captioned the picture "physical therapy," but later added "broken finger, playing basketball."

The injury comes about two months after McFaul broke the same finger while playing basketball. McFaul needed surgery as part of his recovery from the November injury.
