OTTAWA, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Canada's Supreme Court Tuesday upheld a lower court's ruling, ending the drug prosecution of 31 members of a Hells Angels motorcycle club.
The defendants were charged as part of a larger organized crime investigation in 2009 into drug trafficking in Quebec, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., reported Tuesday.

A lower court ruled it was impossible for the province to produce evidence against individual members charged and prosecute all 31 defendants at once.
