The residents reported the incident to Saiqa Special Forces, a branch of the Libyan Army, who transported the bodies to the Benghazi Medical Center, the newspaper Libya Herald said.
In a separate incident Monday morning, a Saiqa Special Forces member was targeted in a grenade attack on his home in Benghazi's Kish district. Two grenades were thrown over the wall of the unidentified man's property as he returned home.
While the man was unharmed in the attack, his brother was severely injured, the newspaper said.
