Attacks in Karachi leave 2 dead, 6 injured

KARACHI, Pakistan, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- At least two people were killed and six others were injured Saturday in violent attacks in Karachi, Pakistan, officials said.

A woman was fatally shot in the city's Liaquatabad area, while a man was shot and killed in another attack in the Gulbahar area, Dawn News reported.

A hand grenade attack at the Khadda market left six people injured. The wounded were treated at a local hospital.

No other details on any of the attacks were reported.
