Minibus crash in China kills all 12 people on board

BEIJING, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- A minibus traveling on a rural road in southwestern China's Yunnan province fell into a ditch Wednesday, killing all 12 people aboard, local officials said.

The bus veered off the road, falling more than 300 feet into the ditch near the town of Malutang, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Local authorities said all 12 people in the vehicle died.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
