"The fur industry knows no limits," Animals' Liberty said on its Facebook page.
Imports of domestic fur have been banned by the European Union since 2009. Animals' Liberty said the fur likely came from China.
Both stores in question issued statements. Muller said the items were "promptly taken off the shelves" and Tom Tailor said it "deeply regret[s] what has happened."
