IRKUTSK, Russia, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- A transport plane crashed into military warehouses on the outskirts of the Siberian city of Irkutsk, Russia, Thursday, killing all nine aboard, officials said.
A statement from the local branch of the Emergency Situations Ministry said six crew members and three people accompanying cargo were aboard the Antonov An-12 plane, and five bodies were pulled from the wreckage thus far.

The plane was owned by the Irkutsk Aviation Plant and was transporting industrial cargo, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti said.
A Russian Defense Ministry spokesman said the crash damaged the roofs of two military warehouses, but there were no additional casualties.
