Ten dead, 17 hurt after Turkish tug lists at shipyard

ANKARA, Turkey, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- At least 10 people were killed, 17 were injured and three were missing after a naval tugboat listed at a Turkish shipyard and took on water, officials say.

The TCG Degirmendere tilted on its side as it was being launched following repairs, Today's Zaman reported Monday.

The cause of the accident at the Alaybey Naval Shipyard in Izmir, has not been determined, the report said.
