2 dead, 2 missing after landslide in China

KUNMING, China, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- A landslide that struck Jinping County in southwest China's Yunnan province on Monday left two people dead and two others missing, authorities said.

The landslide buried five people working at a tailings pond Monday morning, China's state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.

Two people were found dead at the scene and a third was found injured. As of 5 p.m. local time, the two others had not been found.
