Israel is "following with concern all of Iran's activities in the world, because we have been hit by their terror in Argentina, Bulgaria and India," Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon told Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina who is visiting Israel.
The Israeli defense minister accused Iranian diplomats of using the diplomatic mail service to transfer bombs and weapons, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Ya'alon said Israel is aware of terror bases in Iranian embassies and among the Shiite populations in South American countries, including Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia.
"They have built this infrastructure for potential attacks against Jews, Israelis and Israeli interests, but it is also important to them as an infrastructure for possible action in the United States," Ya'alon warned.
Ya'alon said the Iranian regime is willing to go to great lengths to spread the Islamic revolution around the world. The regime supports all those seeking to harm Israel or the West, the Times of Israel reported.
