SULTAN HAMUD, Kenya, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- A bus and a truck collided head-on in Sultan Hamud, Kenya, killing 13 people and seriously injuring 21 others, the Kenya Broadcasting Corp. said.
The Randa Bus Co. bus was traveling from Kitui to Mombasa on Mombasa Road when it struck a truck head-on heading in the opposite direction, KBC said Sunday.

The truck immediately caught fire and both drivers died on the spot, the report said.
The injured were taken to Sultan Hamud Hospital, where 10 people were listed in critical condition.
The cause of the accident wasn't reported.
