ARSAL, Lebanon, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- A Syrian helicopter gunship killed two Lebanese men Monday after allegedly raiding the border town of Arsal, sources told The (Beirut) Daily Star.

"According to information obtained by police," the sources said the two men -- Youssef Hujeiri, 31, and his brother Khaled, 33 -- were relatives of the town's mayor, Ali Hujeiri.

The town of Arsal has had a significant influx of refugees fleeing villages in the Qalamoun, a mountainous region north of Damascus, The Daily Star said.
