MILAN, Italy, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- An Italian man whose pit bull bit off his testicles has died of his injuries, Milan police said.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to the hospital Monday after his girlfriend had become nervous she hadn't heard from him and called police.

The man was found unconscious inside his apartment. Police said it's unclear whether one of the two pit bulls in the apartment attacked the man or if he suffered a medical emergency and was attacked after losing consciousness, TheLocal.it reported Saturday.
The victim was diabetic, police said.
