Factory fire kills 7 in China

BEIJING, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Seven people were killed in a factory fire in China Wednesday, police said.

Five people were trapped inside the burning structure in northeastern Hebei province. Two others escaped but died later from their injuries.

The factory belonged to Zhengqiao Mining Company, China's official Xinhua News Agency reported.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
