Members are also assuring Morsi supporters he will not be jailed, al-Masry al-Youm reported.

The nine members were arrested at an Oct. 6 meeting, where they were allegedly preparing for attacks against the police and armed forces, the Egyptian newspaper said.

A preliminary investigation indicated Muslim Brotherhood leader Essam al-Erian was instructing the group on the attacks, al-Masry al-Youm said.
