Seven killed, two injured following bus accident in northeast China

CHANGCHUN, China, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- A bus and a truck collided Tuesday in Changchun, China, killing seven people and injuring two others, rescuers said.

The accident took place at 12 p.m. in northeast China, the state-run news agency Xinhau reported.

The truck collided with the bus, which rolled over, rescuers said, and the injured were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they have arrested the driver of the truck and an investigation is underway.
