WENHASTON, England, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Police searching for a missing teenager found a body hidden in undergrowth in his mother's garden in eastern England.
The body was discovered Thursday in the village of Wenhaston in Suffolk, the East Anglian Daily Times reported. It had not yet been identified Friday as Miller Redpath, 18.
Redpath's mother, Anastasia Miller, told police she last saw her son Aug. 13 when she tried to wake him so they could attend a sunrise religious service together. She said he was "grumpy" so she went to the service alone and found him missing when she returned.
The young man was not officially listed as missing until October, although Miller told police she was concerned about him and made public appeals asking him to return home. Police apparently believed he had left home voluntarily.
"If you're in trouble in any way, just remember there's very little that can't be sorted out with some good will, negotiation and a humble heart," his mother said in one appeal. "You're certainly not in any trouble with me, I just need you to get in touch."
Redpath was a boarding student at the expensive Langley School in Loddon, Norfolk, the Daily Mirror reported. The school said he never got in touch to learn about the results of his A-level exams, which were due to be released Aug. 15.
