CHITA, Russia, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- A Siberian office of Russia's Investigative Committee was firebombed early Friday morning, investigators said.

Someone broke a window at the local headquarters of the FBI-like agency in Chita and threw in several bottles filled with a flammable liquid, RIA Novosti reported.

Guards quickly extinguished the fire.

Security footage showed a hooded man tossing several burning bottles at the building and running away.

Police are investigating the possibility a group of people was behind the attack.
