Of the $9.6 million taken in the robbery of the Nokas cash depot, about $8.6 million was unrecovered.
That money is believed to have been used to set up an operation in which Norwegian police say as many as seven illicit trips were made to Norway to smuggle drugs, The Local.no reported Tuesday.
Two men were arrested in January as Danish police said they were attempting to smuggle 550 pounds of hashish to Sweden.
The trial of the men is expected to begin in 2014.
According to Danish media, the suspects are known accomplices of two men convicted in the Nokas robbery, Davis Toska and Metkel Betew.
The robbery was the largest in Norway's history.
