Pilot David Riggs' body was pulled from Caihu Lake in Faku county at 12:12 p.m., local time, Friday after three days of searching, China's state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Riggs, along with a Chinese translator, was practicing stunts for the "AOPA-China Fly-In 2013" air show on Tuesday when he crashed into the lake.
The translator was alive when he was pulled from the lake, but later died of his injuries.
Riggs was an experienced aerobatic pilot and was in China to participate in the air show, which is scheduled to run Sept. 20-22.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the crash.
