HESSE, Germany, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- An employee at a hydroelectric plant in Germany found 20 dead snakes and seven live ones in a bag hanging from a rake on plant grounds, officials said.

The man found the bag Tuesday at the power plant in Hesse, central Germany, The Local.de reported.

The bag held a variety of snakes, including pythons.

Police said they believe all of the snakes were alive when they were put in the bag and left to die.

There are no suspects in the case.
