The Yak-52 went down while performing at the Shore of Joy festival in the republic of Yakutia, RIA Novosti reported.
The plane fell into the Tommot River, then rolled onto the riverbank where the festival was held, a spokesman for the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The pilot was killed and two people on the ground were injured, officials said.
