The crash left at least eight people dead and 47 injured, RIA Novosti reported. The Polesye-8 struck a barge on the River Irtysh in the Omsk region at about 11 a.m. Moscow time.
Testing after the crash found alcohol in the captain's blood, officials said. He could face criminal charges.
The Polesye8 was carrying 52 passengers and four crew members.
An emergency services spokeswoman said some of the injured would be flown to Moscow Sunday.
